You can obtain the Nepal entry visa easily upon arrival at Tribhuwan international airport, Kathmandu. Also, you can apply for the Nepal visa online now. The application for the tourist visa has to be filled and submitted through this link of Nepal Immigration: www.online.nepalimmigration.gov.np/tourist-visa. Please bring the printed copy and show them at the immigration in Kathmandu with the visa fees and 2 copies of passport sized photos. US$ 30 or equivalent foreign currency for 15 days multiple entry visa, US$ 50 or equivalent foreign currency for 30 days multiple entry visas. We suggest you take cash in hand. If you haven’t applied for online visa then visa form will be provided during your flight to Nepal.

The two most pleasant seasons for trekking in Nepal are spring and autumn. The spring season is considered to be March to May. During the spring months, flowers are in bloom in the forests so it can be quite beautiful though it can also be a bit cloudy, especially in the afternoon. Autumn season is considered September through November In autumn season you will get the best mountain views, with clear skies usually all day long.

The fall season is slightly cooler with average temperatures. December is also generally the driest month of the year. Trekking in Nepal is possible at any time of the year. It is worth remembering that we will get 75 percent of annual rainfall from the mid-June through August. This period is considered as the monsoon season.

Winter in Nepal is considered December through February. These months are the coldest in temperatures depending on where you are. At higher altitudes in the Himalayas temperatures will drop below freezing and it can be extremely cold at night.

The most popular treks in Nepal are in the Everest region, Annapurna region, and the Langtang region. In the Everest region, you have the opportunity to view the majestic mountains, monasteries of traditional Tibetan Buddhism and rich Sherpa culture. Annapurna region you have a choice between the rich forests and serene beauty of the Annapurna sanctuary or more remote higher altitude of Annapurna circuit to arid terrain of the Kali Gandaki valley up to Mustang. Langtang region is easily accessible from Kathmandu and completed within a week. Generally, the trekking days involves 4-6 hours of walking per day. The trail varies from easy walking on the lower elevation to the strenuous walking over 5000 meters in the Himalayas. You walk at your own pace and stop when you feel like it. There will be always our trekking Guides, Sherpa staffs, and porters assisting you.
The trekking day begins early at around 6.30 in the morning with a cup of wake up tea. Before breakfast, pack your duffel bag which is carried by porters by keeping some essential things in your daypack. After breakfast, we are usually starting a good morning walk. After 3-4 hrs walking, we stop for lunch. Allowing about 1 - 2 hours for lunch break then we continue the walk to the destination where we stay overnight. We reach the teahouse/ camp by afternoon, as the afternoon walk is generally shorter than the morning. Check in the room and having afternoon tea, side trips or other activities are generally organized. You can spend the afternoon as you wish then meet for dinner and sleep.
Trekking in Nepal involves some remote areas so you should not expect a shower each day. But nowadays, most of the lodges in the Everest region, Annapurna region, and Langtang region provide solar heated hot shower facilities. Most of the remote places possible to get a bucket of hot water on request. We provide shower facilities on our camping treks and expeditions. Hot water is sometimes available to wash clothes, and in places, lodges provide a laundry service for a small fee.
You will carry your day pack with warm clothes, water, snacks, sun block, camera and whatever else you need for the day. Generally, it will be light of about 3-5 Kg.
Yes, now most of the places in Nepal including the Everest region, Annapurna region have the internet and WIFI access.
All of our trips will provide excellent local and western food. You’ll get breakfast, lunch, and dinner plus hot drinks. We can provide for vegetarian as well as many other special foods during the trip. In Lodge trek packages, we will give the opportunity to choose your meals yourself from the menu of each lodge/restaurants. Most of meals items will be prepared from rice, pasta, noodles, soups, potatoes, and flour. Tea/coffee will serve 3 times in a day and 3 times meals (Breakfast/Lunch & Dinner) will be served.
There is an available charging facility in all places but we recommend you to use cameras with extra batteries. 220-240 V power electricity is available in most of the trekking places. Many of the lodges have power available with typical Asian plugs (two-point plugs).
You are encouraged to arrive a bit early to have a look around the many places, short adventure trips, if you have the time.
You need general travel insurance and trip cancellation insurance as well as emergency rescue insurance. Please, be sure it covers you for trekking or climbing, depending on what trip you have booked.

We book clean and comfortable lodges on treks that we have very good relationship with the owner and we have been using for long time. We can book private rooms for you at an additional cost. Our standard trips are based on twin sharing rooms.
Yes, these lists have been carefully prepared. Please bring everything on the list. You may be traveling in the snowy terrain. Weather can deteriorate and rain, wind or even some snow is possible. You must, therefore, bring adequate clothing and footwear for the cold.
This will be clearly stated in your suggested equipment and gear list. It will depend on where you are going, but in general, you will need a sleeping bag warm enough for you in conditions as cold as freezing. Blankets are generally available in some places.
For Nepal treks, you should be comfortable walking for 4-6 hours with a light pack. Trek Members will best have a moderate level of fitness to enjoy the experience of its fullest. The trails are sometimes steep and some of the days longer 6-8 hours a day. Walking an hour a day, then 4-6 hours on the weekends is generally a good realistic training before the trek.

We will be at the airport to pick you up on the scheduled arrival date with your printed name and our Company play card with your name. Our airport staff will transfer you to the hotel. Take care of your personal luggage yourself during your travel, you do not have to pay any cost to airport persons (who want to help you to put your luggage to your car and will ask money, just ignored them). Know our airport representative (real staff) and let them help to carry your luggage to the vehicle. If you are arriving early, we can often make arrangements for a pick up; just send us the flight details.
